Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Yeah, um, kinda non-sequitur but Vicky's on away message right now, but anyhow...

Do any of you guys know what the best way of making grilled cheese sandwiches is? I mean, well, the Kraft Singles are good but it'll get kinda bland after awhile . . . should I request a pepper grinder before going off to college? Any other stuff I should put in it?
