general update

Sparred in a competition-style setting for the first time today, against Adora. Was fun, even though I went in expecting to lose. Adora's fast, I haven't been sleeping much, I haven't been putting my heart and soul into training, and I wouldn't even have attended today if it weren't "required" that we make at least an appearance.

I find that other things are taking up my time and attention, namely school and R. This means that theater, writing, and law school apps have taken back burners, which does not bode well, particularly for that last group of items. I think I shall take a couple days to regroup and recharge.

Anyway. Sleep calls, and I just cleared the bed of laundry. Good morning.
