From one to another....

I think I beat the mood disorder (more than 6 months since an episode, more than a year since a suicidal--actually, "extremely reckless" episode) but now I appear to have acquired a sleeping disorder (extreme drowsiness 5-10 minutes at a time, no matter what the hour or how much sleep I've gotten the night before or how much caffeine I've ingested; falling asleep within 5 minutes of going to bed).

Dammit.

Edit: Disclaimer added in respect for the Boy's concerns: neither have been clinically diagnosed. All are technically hypotheses developed after examining various lists of symptoms, which is admittedly not a foolproof method of determining the presence of a disorder, whether life-threatening or not. At the same time, while I do not take the existence of either mood or sleep disorders lightly, I personally prefer to take these symptoms as they appear in myself as due to lack of exercise, proper nutrition, and exposure to sunlight, and, respectively, severe sleep deprivation.
